Sexism in comics - when it goes too far.
while there is a certain disparity between the portrayal of females vs males in american comics, at a certain point, the bitching about if a female’s outfit is “too revealing” or if her posing is “too provocative” goes too far. the primary targets of most comics are males. men like to look at attractive women. women have those sparkly mangas don’t they?...

Fuck your hugboxes.
There’s no way to have an actual discussion on tumblr. Nor is there a way to dislike a post. Since there’s no way to effectively tell someone how full of shit they are, the site encourages hugboxing and echo chambers of the highest caliber resulting in a bunch of self centered assholes that think that because a lot of people agree with them they’re automatically right due to ad...

Why tumblr justice warriors are bundles of sticks.
The real honest answer? They have the thinnest skin of all of the internet. They are that one corner of the internet that still gets offended by virtually everything on the internet. Call a homosexual a faggot? Expect to hear an earful from some Social Justice Blogger on Tumblr. Do anything remotely misogynist? Again. Tumblr. They are the one part of the internet that hasn’t accepted that...

Just seeing the movies does not make you a Marvel...
Fucking casuals. You think you’re a Marvel fan just because you’ve seen the MCU? You don’t know shit. It’s a very good shared cinematic universe, but they are not the be-all-end-all of Marvel’s canon. I am sick of seeing people (mostly fangirls) call themselves nerds just because they’ve seen a superhero/comic book film…when have they ever read a damn...

To all the "fat acceptance" supporters:
Fat acceptance is the saddest excuse for a cause that I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s your own damn fault if you can’t see your own genitals because of the sheer size of your gut. Do you fatties even lift?

Why is referring to someone's skin color as...
Some of y’all have been bitching at me for doing that. But what am I supposed to call it? Light, medium, and dark brown are too vague. Mocha, hazelnut, toffee, and other such Starbucks skin scale shades are legitimate colors anyway. I don’t think that “fetish-izing of people of color” is the issue at all here…it’s just a way to describe someone more...

Korra is NOT black.
There are no black people in Avatar, or white people either for that matter. Also, Korra isn’t really that dark. Most of the time I see her in the show she’s more toffee/hazelnut than mocha, so you might as well accuse the animators themselves of whitewashing. Skin tone WILL change depending on the lighting of the scene. Yes, being surrounded by fire DOES make your skin look a lot...
